Start X from Messages, Search, Explore, Notifications, a direct profile, a specific post, or the compose route. Decide the task first and close the session when it is done. If the native app keeps pulling you back to Home, block it during protected windows and use a focused web route only for the direct action you need.
Change the entrance and the session becomes easier to define
A Home timeline is designed to answer “what should I look at next?” continuously. A message, search query, profile, notification, or direct post answers a different question: “what did I come here to do?”
The second question creates an endpoint. The goal is not to pretend X has no useful information. It is to stop the general timeline from becoming the mandatory route to that information.
Use a direct-route plan for X
Name the reason for opening X
Reply to one message, search one topic, read one direct post, check one account, or publish one update.
Open the matching route
Use Messages, Search, Explore, Notifications, a profile, a direct link, Settings, or Compose instead of Home.
Avoid using Home as the return path
When the direct action is complete, close the service rather than using the timeline as a waiting room.
Block the native app during vulnerable windows
If bedtime, work, or class keeps becoming a timeline session, use a scheduled boundary during that context.
